The Opportunity

A Pre-Sales Cloud Advisor at transACT Technology Solutions will have the opportunity to assist our customers and clients in their journey towards cloud adoption and transformation. Your main responsibilities will be to provide our team and customers with expert guidance and technical advice, enabling them to make informed decisions about adopting cloud solutions. You will work alongside the rest of the Cloud Team to deliver successful pre-sales engagements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

The role responsibilities of a Pre-Sales Cloud Advisor include:

  • Collaborating with sales teams and engaging directly with customers to understand their business requirements, technical challenges, and goals;
  • Designing and architecting innovative AWS-based solutions that address customer needs, leveraging a deep understanding of AWS services and capabilities;
  • Conducting presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to showcase the value and benefits of AWS solutions, addressing customer pain points and business objectives;
  • Maintaining a high level of technical expertise in AWS services, industry trends, and best practices to effectively advise and consult customers on the optimal use of AWS technologies;
  • Creating and delivering technical proposals, solution architectures, and other documentation to support customer engagements;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to ensure successful delivery of customer solutions;
  • Continuing to keep up to date with the latest AWS offerings, features, and industry trends through self-study, training, and certifications.

Role Requirements:

The right candidate will be efficient in the following skills & capabilities:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services and solutions, including but not limited to compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and analytics;
  • Proven experience in designing and architecting cloud-based solutions, considering scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimisation;
  • Prior experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably within the cloud computing or IT infrastructure domain;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers, deliver presentations, and create technical documentation;
  • An ability to understand customer needs and pain points and translate them into technical solutions that address their specific requirements and objectives;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer challenges and propose effective solutions using AWS services;
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to drive successful customer engagements;
  • A strong attention to detail with a positive and proactive outlook;
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly desirable.
